Mad Rabbit Recalls RELIEVE Numbing Cream recalled due to Packaging Safety Issue, United States

Mad Rabbit has issued a recall for its "RELIEVE" Lidocaine Numbing Cream due to non-compliance with child-resistant packaging standards, posing a poisoning risk to young children. The product was distributed nationwide in the U.S. through trade shows, tattoo shops, and online from October 2024 to August 2025.HAZARD:
The numbing cream contains lidocaine and, under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, is required to have child-resistant packaging, because the packaging is not child-resistant, it poses a risk of poisoning if a child swallows the cream, which could result in serious injury or death.
AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- “RELIEVE” Numbing Cream
- Is packaged in a short, wide-mouthed white container.
- The label features black lettering with "RELIEVE" prominently displayed, along with the Mad Rabbit logo.
- Approximately 28,000 units are affected by this recall.
The issue was identified due to the packaging not meeting the requirements of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The recall was initiated on September 25, 2025.
