JACISK has issued a recall for its water beads sold via Amazon due to a serious choking and health risk. The beads, which expand significantly when soaked in water, were distributed online through Amazon in the UK.The recalled product is:
- The JACISK brand
- Model XSZ01
- With a barcode of X001KWB6WB
- Amazon identifier FBA15K4RC4ZWU000006.
- The water beads are packaged in a transparent plastic bottle
- Containing 50,000 beads, weighing 9 ounces.
- The product originates from China.
The issue was identified by Local Authority Trading Standards, leading to the import being rejected at the border. The recall was initiated on June 26, 2025, and is classified as a serious risk.
