INIU Power Banks recalled due to Fire and Burn Hazards, United States

INIU has announced a recall of its BI-B41 power banks due to fire and burn hazards. The lithium-ion batteries in these devices can overheat and ignite. The affected power banks were sold online through the Amazon website in the United States between August 2021 and April 2022.The recall involves:
- INIU 10,000mAh Portable Power Banks
- Model BI-B41
- Available in black or blue.
- The products feature the INIU logo and a paw-print LED light.
- Only units with serial numbers 000G21, 000H21, 000I21, and 000L21 are included.
- Approximately 210,000 units are affected.
- The model and serial number are printed on the back of the power bank at the bottom.
The issue was identified following 15 reports of overheating, including 11 fires, resulting in minor injuries and property damage. The recall was initiated on December 5, 2025.
