Diamond G Forest Products has issued a recall for its Georgia Pine Gum Spirits of Turpentine bottles due to non-compliance with child-resistant packaging standards. The product, posing a risk of poisoning if ingested by children, was sold in various stores across Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and online in the United States.The recall affects:
- 100% pure gum spirits of turpentine bottles.
- 4-ounce clear glass bottles
- Labeled “Georgia Pine Gum Spirits of Turpentine” by Diamond G Forest Products.
- Approximately 20,000 units are involved in this recall.
- The bottles were available for purchase from January 2021 through April 2025.
The issue was identified as a violation of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, prompting a recall on July 24, 2025.
