Ford is recalling its vehicles worldwide from model years 2015–2019 due to faulty rear-view cameras. Rearview cameras can display inverted, distorted, or blank images. The affected products were distributed to the United States (about 1.45 million), Canada (122,000), and other markets (around 300,000).The recall involves:
- Lincoln MKC, Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, Expedition, Edge, Transit, Transit Connect, Econoline, and Ranger vehicles.
The issue was identified during investigations into tens of thousands of warranty claims (44,123) and at least 18 related accidents. The recall was initiated on September 9, 2025, and classified as a safety recall by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
