Creekliybear Play Yard Mattresses Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death, United States

Zhongshan Hongtu Furniture Co., operating as Kbabyea, has issued a recall for Creekliybear “Pack and Play” aftermarket play yard mattresses. The recall is due to the mattresses violating crib mattress standards, posing an entrapment hazard. These aftermarket mattresses designed for play yards do not meet the federal safety standards for crib mattresses. They are too thick and may not fit securely in some play yard models, which creates a risk of entrapment. Infants can suffocate if they become stuck in the gaps between the mattress and the sides of the play yard, especially if their face presses against the padding or the wall, making it hard for them to breathe. These products were sold online on Amazon from December 2024 to June 2025 in the United States. The recalled mattresses are:
- Creekliybear “Pack and Play” Aftermarket Play Yard Mattresses
- White with grey striping
- Labeled with “Play Mat” and “Model: m-sy2.”
- They measure approximately 26 inches wide and 38 inches long.
- About 21,500 units are affected by this recall.
The issue was identified as the mattresses exceeding thickness requirements, potentially creating gaps that pose a suffocation risk. The recall was initiated on July 10, 2025.
If you or a loved one are harmed, it is important to report it. Reporting can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
