CreateOn Pip-Cubes recalled due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death, United States
1 month ago •source cpsc.gov
United States
CreateOn has issued a recall for its Crayola-branded pip-Cubes due to a magnet ingestion hazard. The magnetic building cubes, sold in Bold Colors and Glitter sets, were distributed nationwide in the United States through Michael's Stores and online via Amazon from May 2025 to July 2025.HAZARD:
The magnetic building cubes are being recalled because their magnets may come loose if the seams split open. If a child swallows these strong magnets, they can pull toward each other—or toward metal inside the body—creating dangerous internal pressure. This can lead to severe injuries such as intestinal blockages, tears in the digestive tract, infections, or even life-threatening complications.
