HOMEAL has announced a recall of its children's bed rails due to a risk of serious injury or death from entrapment. The product, which violates the mandatory standard for children's portable bed rails, was sold on the Amazon website in the United States from June 2025 through September 2025.HAZARD:
The recalled bed rails do not meet the required safety standard for children's portable bed rails. When placed next to a bed, gaps can form between the rail and mattress, creating a potential entrapment hazard that could lead to serious injury or death.
The recall involves:
- Children's HOMEAL Bed Rails
- With a white steel frame and gray oxford cloth.
- The model number 338 is printed on a label stitched to the product.
- Approximately 2,370 units are affected by this recall.
The issue was identified as the bed rails pose a risk when installed adjacent to a bed, allowing for potential entrapment. The recall was initiated on October 30, 2025.
