Toyota has issued a recall for certain Toyota Tundra, Tundra HEV, and Sequoia Models due to the vehicle may not meet a federal safety standard and there can be an increased risk of a crash with a person behind the vehicle.. The affected products were distributed nationwide in the United States.AFFECTED PRODUCT:
VEHICLE: Toyota Vehicle Models:
2022–2025 Toyota Tundra
2022–2025 Toyota Tundra Hybrid (HEV)
2023–2025 Toyota Sequoia
Additional Information:
- Approximately 394,000 vehicles are affected in the U.S.
- Issue: The 14-inch multimedia center display may show a half-green, full green, or full black screen, which could prevent the rearview image from displaying and increase the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Toyota dealers will update the multimedia display software free of charge.
The recall was initiated on October 1st, 2025.
