CasaClean Handheld Steamers recalled due to Safety Issue, United States

Deale International has announced a recall of its CasaClean Handheld Steamers due to a risk of serious burn injuries. The steamers, which can leak steam or spew hot water, were sold on HSN from November 2024 through April 2025. The product was distributed nationwide in the United States.The recall involves:
- CasaClean Handheld Steamers with model number DF-958
- Available in white/gray and blue/gray.
- Approximately 23,000 units are affected.
- The product features a water tank, cap, valve assembly, hose, hose clamp, and exit nozzle, with the CasaClean logo in silver on the right side.
- The recalled steamers are intended to remove dirt, grease and limescale in various household areas.
- The CasaClean logo is in silver finish on the right face of the steamer.
- The model number is listed on a large black bar on the product rating sticker on the bottom of the machine.
The issue was identified following 26 reports of steamers leaking, resulting in 13 burn injuries. The recall was initiated on July 17, 2025.
