Alltrade Tools LLC has issued a safety recall for its Kilimanjaro E-Bike Rack Hitch-Mounted Platform Carrier due to a defect posing potential safety risks. The products were sold at Costco and Costco.com in the United States. Alltrade is recalling these E-Bike racks due to possible failure at key points like the Hitch Post or Carrying Platforms, which could cause the rack to break and the bike to fall, leading to injury or road hazards. Over time, cracks can form from stress, further weakening the structure.The recalled products include:
- Item numbers 2705169 and 1666595
- Model numbers 910572CWT, 910572ECT, and 910495CUE.
- These E-Bike Racks were sold between March 2023 and September 2024.
Consumers are advised to stop using the product and return it to where they purchased it.
