Michelin North America, Inc. has issued a recall for certain Agilis CrossClimate C-Metric tires, size 185/60R15C, due to non-compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 139 and Canadian Technical Standards Document 139. The affected tires, which may have tread rubber detachment, were sold at retail locations in the U.S. and Canada.The recalled tires are:
- Identified by the dimension 185/60R15C 94T
- With a DOT production date code between 4023 and 1725.
- The specific plant codes are FK or 1FK
- The ID sequence is 1R013X.
The issue was discovered through internal testing, and the recall was initiated on June 30, 2025. It is classified as a safety recall due to the potential increased risk of a crash.
