509 Recalls Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury, United States

Teton Outfitters LLC, doing business as 509, has issued a recall for certain helmets due to insufficient crash protection, posing a risk of head injury. The affected helmets were sold online and at Ride509 and Polaris dealers nationwide in the United States from January 2020 through May 2025.

The issue was identified following an incident where a helmet detached during a crash, resulting in a concussion. The recall was initiated on July 3, 2025, and is classified as a Fast Track Recall.
