The FDA is warning not to consume Raaw Energy's specific lots of its dog food due to contamination with harmful bacteria, including Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, and Campylobacter jejuni. The contamination was discovered following a consumer complaint about a dog illness, leading to testing by the Connecticut and New Jersey Departments of Agriculture. The FDA recommended the recall on January 23, 2026, but the company has not yet initiated an adequate recall.
