Around 3000 area customers of Wisconsin Public Service were without power for nearly two hours yesterday morning. The outage started about 5:30 and affected portions of the city of Marinette and the Town of Peshtigo.

WPS reported outages affecting more than 50,000 customers in its service area from Wausau to the Northwoods, Oshkosh to the Lakeshore, Sheboygan to Marinette.
