According to Lynnwood Police, at about noon Tuesday, a truck took out the power poles at 200th Street Southwest and Cedar Valley Road in Lynnwood. According to Snohomish County PUD, the estimated time for the restoration of power is 6 p.m.

An equipment failure caused a power outage affecting thousands of customers in several Edmonds and Lynnwood neighborhoods on both sides of 196th Street Southwest, mostly west of Highway 99 around noon Thursday. The outage map indicated 4,500 customers were initially without power.
