A driver who was witnessed driving at a high rate of speed on Old Highway 99 South left the road near the junction with Highway 42 and struck power lines, knocking out power to many residents in the Green and Winston area late Tuesday night.
Crews are investigating these outages, but most haven’t been able to estimate when power might be restored to these and other areas affected by wind blowing through the region as of about 3 p.m. Saturday.
