Power outages are affecting thousands of Portland General Electric customers in Multnomah County. According to PGE’s website, 4,237 customers in the metro area have been affected as of 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. The cause of the outages has not yet been determined.

More than a thousand people are without power near Sauvie Island early Friday morning. Portland General Electric reports 1,172 customers off NW Marina Way and another 228 customers near the Sauvie Island Wildlife Area Headquarters are experiencing outages.
