About 8,000 customers lost power this morning in Oklahoma after severe storms battered parts of the state. OG&E's outage map was reporting 3,130 customers affected as of Wednesday morning. Oklahoman's Electric Cooperatives are reporting an additional 4,459 customers affected. PSO is reporting 785 customers affected.

City of Broken Arrow staff quickly responded Sunday morning to begin assessing the damage from the overnight storms, including extremely high straightline winds, that came through the community and left a significant number of homes and businesses without power.
