A contractor, who is unaffiliated with the city, struck the city's water main. The city of Reidsville issued a CodeRED announcement following the incident. The city of Reidsville will be under a Boil Water Advisory until 12 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6

An employee was working with COVID-19 symptoms and later tested COVID-19 positive, exposing other employees. Employees which have been exposed to COVID-19 positive people continue to work and are not wearing mask.
