According to city officials in Escanaba, a boil water advisory has been issued due to construction. Affected areas include 600, 700, and 800 blocks of 20th Street. 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200 blocks of 19th Street. 1,800 and 1,900 blocks of 6th Avenue S. 1,900,
According to officials, due to upgrades being made to the water system, a boil water advisory has been issued for customers in Escanaba. Most of the customers impacted are in Lake Shore Drive area.

A boil water advisory is in effect for a portion of downtown Escanaba. This effects residents and businesses located in the areas of the:
– 100, 200, and 300 blocks of North 12th Street
– 1112, 1115, and 1219 2nd Avenue North
– 1000 and 1100 blocks
– 100, 200, and 300 blocks of North 12th Street
– 1112, 1115, and 1219 2nd Avenue North
– 1000 and 1100 blocks
Escanaba Residents living in the areas of the – 500 block of South 7th Street – 300-600 blocks of South 8th Street – 600 block South 9th Street – 600-700 block of 6th Avenue South – 700-800 block of 5th Avenue South – 700 Bay Street –
Escanaba residents living in the area below will remain on the boil advisory until construction concludes hopefully by the end of this week. All of the residents will again see a disruption in the water service while we attempt to replace a broken valve.

On April 10, 2020, because of an existing medical condition (asthma), an employee sought and received a workplace accommodation under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) to work in areas where patients were not covid-19 positive. On October 9th, the employee was informed by their supervisor the
1. An employee tested positive for covid-19. The employee worked three days before testing positive and probably spread the virus to other employees. 2. Nothing is being done to protect the health and safety of the employees.

Employees do not feel safe going to work because the employer is not: a) providing proper sanitizing products for the coronavirus, b) conducting temperature checks, c) taking any of the proper precautionary measures during this pandemic, and d) providing masks to employees.
