several streets west of Hayes Road between 13 Mile and 14 Mile roads had an outage caused by equipment problems. Near Interstate 696 and Hoover in Warren, there were about 1,500 outages. An area east of Van Dyke Avenue, north of Martin Road in Warren had about 500 outages caused by an equipment problem. Earlier Wednesday, there were several hundred homes and businesses without power in the area south of Hayes Road between Hall Road and 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township due to a traffic crash that took out an utility pole.
