Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery
Brighton, Michigan, United States
Updated:
1. There has not been proper social distancing put in place, and on busy days the restaurant is often over crowded and all tables and booths are sat regardless of how close they are to one another. 2. A vast majority of the kitchen staff do not
wear masks while working, and there are no concrete sanitation processes that are enforced. 3. Two of three managers had tested positive for COVID-19 and it took several days for employee to find out. This was concerning because both managers continued to work their normal daily shifts while they were sick and waiting for their test results. The manager jobs include greeting and seating all the patrons who come to dine in the establishment; they come into contact with a great many people on a regular basis. 4. Menus are not cleaned very often. 5. Employees are not offered to take the mandatory 14 day quarantine after being exposed.

1. Brighton is going forward with in person graduations. They are dividing the 483 students into 5 ceremonies. Each ceremony will have around 100 students plus family and school staff and security. 2. Brighton says they will have employees on hand to enforce that only "people on
the list" will come in, however, considering their attitude toward safety, it is doubtful they will attempt and effort.

Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is not available. Two people were tested and asked to remain silent until the tests results arrived. They had to work during this time without proper PPE also.

1. The employer frequently has people touring the restaurant, including the kitchen, and no one is wearing masks. Customers come and go all the time with no masks. Servers are not being told to wear them properly either. 2. The employer is allowing large gatherings in the
banquet hall. 3. There are 2 machines in disrepair (a slicer and a huge mixer) that employee are forced to use. The mixer had to be duct taped during use in order to function. The head cook lied to the health inspector on that one.
