ordered to receive testing and are being expected to report to work as normal. The number of affected employees is roughly 20 and includes multiple production associates, a team leader, a supervisor, 2 engineers, the materials manager, and the plant manager. The affected employees are being required to work only due to productivity concerns. The working conditions on the affected assembly lines are generally cramped and most of the machine operators are never 6 feet apart from one another. The affected assembly lines are designated A239, A382, and A383. It is understood that Michigan's covid-19 guidelines for manufacturing, requiring suspected cases to report to work in conditions where social distancing on the job is impossible is a health violation.
