The boil water advisories that were announced on Friday by the City of Brownsville and the Edmonson County Water District have been lifted as of Monday 29th morning, according to the City and the District.

The Edmonson Water District or Wax plant has issued a boil water notice for their customers. After testing the water Friday, they noticed a sample had shown turbidity (cloudiness) levels of 8 turbidity units, which is above the standard of 1.0 turbidity units.
