There are also more than 100 without power near Pinhook Park in South Bend and more than 100 without power in areas of Sodus Township. Midwest Energy & Communications is reporting most of its just over 100 outages in Van Buren County, Mich. NIPSCO is reporting more than 5,400 outages, with most of them reported in parts of northwest Indiana outside of our viewing area. However, there are large outages in LaPorte (167).

Around 15,000 Indiana Michigan Power customers lost electricity after thunderstorms moved through Michiana on Saturday morning, July 23.
