An accident on 18th Street knocked out power to a swath of Logansport’s east side ranging from Marleton Hills, Sunset Drive and Jefferson Street. The accident occurred at 12:01 a.m April 11th.

A large power outage has been reported in Logansport. According to Logansport Utilities's social media post, a fiber company struck underground wires in the area of High Street and Yorktown. Crews are on the scene to make repairs.

The Logansport Utilities’ electric department will be installing a new pole for the Erie Avenue reconstruction project on Saturday, April 22 that requires a small scheduled power outage for various businesses, traffic signals, and a few apartments in the area.

the corner of Fifth Street and Erie Avenue. The project will begin at 6 a.m. and should be completed within 2 hours. Traffic signals will also be affected at Third, Fourth, and Fifth streets along Market Street. Stop signs will be in effect in those intersections. Any apartments in the area will be affected in the early morning two-hour outage, as well as the following businesses: People’s Winery, Hendrickson’s Auto Credit, State Theatre, Judy’s Good Life Emporium, Pear Tree Gallery, Mike Anderson Detail Shop, Iron Horse Museum, AM Young Agency, Ed Nason Insurance, The Gallery, Gallery Warehouse, Personal Finance Co., Farmer’s Fresh Market, Ameilo’s, J7J Auto Sales, Dance Moore Studio, 50 Shades of Beauty Salon, Comprehensive Counseling Center, The Avenue Bar, and Cervantes Construction.
