As of Sunday at 6:30 a.m., Duke Energy says that about 4000 homes in Bartholomew County remain without power due to thunderstorms that blasted the county on Saturday. At its peak, the number of residences with power outages was 15,000

Several thousand people in Central Indiana are currently without power as severe weather moves across the area. There was a combined roughly 2,550 Duke Energy customers experiencing outages between Noblesville and Fishers, and in the area of Columbus and New Palestine.

Eastern Bartholomew Water Co. has issued a boil water advisory for all of Clifty Drive in the Wehmeier addition in Columbus. The advisory continues until 4 p.m. March 8. The advisory was put into effect due to maintenance on a water main.
