More the 4 people now have tested positive. AND they do nothing to protect the people . People are still coming in sick. The temperature taking is wrong. People temperature are like 93.7 to 97.1.

Not following the OSHA Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19. They are allowing as many people that can fit into the library into the library and do not require the citizens to wear a mask. They are not mandating social distancing with the people coming into the … See More
library. They will have signs saying it but employees cannot approach the public. Employees have been told that if they are overwhelmed by the level of work it is going to take to service the mass number of people to visiting the library, they cannot ask for relieve and stay at the library in another role. They must clock out and go home due to potentially causing discourse between employees. Also, the library is not providing the proper PPE to employees. Employees have been told to pull books from the quarantine book cart to fill hold orders. The Library is not following the Engineering: Facilities and Equipment Controls to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 in Work Environments: Assess job hazards for feasibility of engineering controls Alter workspaces to maintain social distancing. Configure partitions as a barrier shield Move electronic payment reader away from cashier Use verbal announcements, signage, and visual cues to promote social distancing Remove/rearrange furniture. The Library is not following the Administrative Controls to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 in Work Environments: Management and Communications: Monitor state and local public health communications about COVID-19 Not encouraging sick workers to report symptoms, stay home, and follow CDC guidance Develop strategies. Not encouraging social distancing and the use of cloth face coverings (if appropriate) in the workplace. Not using technology to promote social distancing. Cancel group events Close/limit use of shared spaces Ask customers who are ill to stay home Consider policies that encourage flexible sick leave and alternative work schedules. Cleaning and Disinfection by a professional company that knows how to clean for COVID-19 Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, (e.g., counters, shelving, displays) Provide employees with disposable disinfectant wipes, cleaner, or sprays that are effective against the virus that causes COVID-19. Training: Provide employees with training on: Policies to reduce the spread of COVID-19 General hygiene Symptoms, what to do if sick Cleaning and disinfection Cloth face covers Social distancing Use of PPE Safe work practices Stress management. The Library is not following the PPE to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 in Work Environments: Conduct workplace hazard assessment Determine what PPE is needed for their workers' specific job duties based on hazards and other controls present Select and provide appropriate PPE to the workers at no cost.
