Thousands of residents near Susanville are without power due to the Dixie Fire, according to the Lassen Municipal Utility District.

PG&E told LMUD their infrastructure is facing imminent failure by 7 p.m. on Monday night, due to the Dixie Fire burning almost 60,000 acres.

Currently, according to LMUD's outage map, in Susanville, 5,815 residents are currently without power. Some say they've been experiencing outages for the past three days.

Other affected areas included in current outages include Eagle Lake, Janesville, Lake Forest, Leavitt Lake, Standish-Litchfield, and Westwood. Approximately 10,432 residents are experiencing power outages, according to LMUD.
