My Postmate driver just told me his aunt & cousin got COVID-19. His aunt isn’t showing symptoms but his cousin has pneumonia & isn’t doing well. He looked like he wanted to cry. Told me they’re being treated at MLK hospital. Feel so bad for that dude.

One of my really good friends has been sick and has tested positive for COVID-19 and my heart hurts for her. Luckily she’s on the mend, and her symptoms have lessened.

past couple days I havent been feeling well & been experiencing some corona symptoms, I went to the doctor today & I was told I have a viral infection they just didn’t know what virus.. I can’t be tested for covid-19 bc I havent traveled outside the u.s & because idk anyone who has it

I was straight up told they won’t do the Covid-19 test on me because I’m not showing severe symptoms.
Do I really have to be dying in order to receive this test? Only symptom I don’t have is shortness of breath/tightness in my chest. I can’t smell or taste anything as well.

My friend has been showing symptoms of Covid-19 for days. Today he contacted our university health center for a teleconsultation, and when he asked the doctor if he could undergo a free test for the virus at the center, she said no, since he wasn’t coughing yet.
