PG&E crews have restored power to 868 customers, mostly in the Columbia area, which impacted the college. The utility did not give a cause for the outages that stretched from the north of downtown Sonora through Columbia.

PG&E is reporting more than 1,500 customers are without electricity.The power went off around 9 a.m. An estimated restoration time of 3:15 p.m. has been given by PG&E.

An 11:45 p.m. restoration time is expected

Over three thousand Tuolumne County Pacific Gas & Electric customers are without power. The outage started at 6:38am. The area impacted is around Columbia, Chinese Camp, Moccasin, Big Oak Flat and Groveland.
