I received a smart watch in mail that I did not order from sotida 3826 S Ashland, Chicago, IL 60609. No one in my circle ordered it. What is it?A few days ago I received a smaller box addressed to me. When I opened it it was a New Media Tech C90 Ultra 2 smart watch. I have not opened the watch packaging. I did not order this nor did anyone I know. I fear that it is a ‘scam’ watch full of malware. Have seen (googled) reports from a few years ago that hackers were targeting older people and that those watches also tried to connect to Wi-Fi and your other devices to steal your info—back accounts, credit cards, etc. If this watch is like that I just want people to be aware.

I received the same watch. This is definitely a SCAM operation. Unfortunately people don’t check BBB before they order. Unfortunately I too am one of those who failed to check. Shame on me. It will never happen again. The ad that Amazon shows as a MYSTERY BOX PACKED with electronics and accessories, is clearly a “deceptive business practice”. This business uses what is commonly known as “TRAPPING”. They tell you that they only have a few Mystery Boxes left in stock, so they very effectively get people to impulse buy. And then, you get the Mystery Box you didn’t expect. Let me say a little something about they’re 100% satisfaction guarantee. I’ve been dealing with these people for 3 weeks now and they have offered to refund the $39.99 without the taxes and shipping. I don’t think they can keep the tax, but I will research that also. All in all “BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY”
