A power outage was reported today at the Big Bear Vons and State Brothers complexes and Moonridge areas. According to Big Bear Valley Electric Service, the outage is mainly at the shopping center complexes and in Moonridge.

Crews from Bear Valley Electric and Edison are working to restore power in Big Bear Valley after the first significant winter storm arrived in the mountains on Nov. 8. Power has been off and on throughout much of the day. It became a Valleywide issue when all... See More of Edison’s lines went down.
Edison lost power in Lucerne Valley a new finally got it back on. The Edison line that connects from Redlands is also down. Bear Valley crews are being allowed to travel down Highway 38 to the Radford Line substation to get that line back up and running. The Radford line powers the Village area to the dam on the south shore. Trees down in Moonridge and on the North Shore have caused outages and may take longer to repair. Fawnskin may be out for a while.
