I would like to report a FB Ad scam. A couple weeks ago, I used my PayPal account to purchase a (14) pack of Animal Christmas ornaments + (8) individual Animal Christmas ornaments from an advertisement I saw on Facebook. The FB ad showed photos of beautiful, hand-carved animal Christmas ornaments and the were described as hand-carved on wood. When I received them, they were definitely not made of wood or hand-carved as pictured in their ads. What I received were plastic-like ornaments that appeared to be made on a flat surfaced, laminated fiberboard. These were not anywhere close to being real wood carvings. Instead, the ornaments were made of plastic, or laminated fiberboard with animals printed onto the laminate. This was definitely a scam and misleading to customers! I would never, ever, spend $147.67 on these fakes! I looked on my PayPal account to find out how to contact the company for a full refund. I was unable to access, or reproduce, the company’s Ad that was posted on FB. I looked up on my PayPal account for a Vendor contact for a refund request. They only had an email address for contact. There was no company name, the only info given was the name: GRMANDO OTEROY at 3646 S Walcott Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60609.
