I (stup*dly) ordered an item (not clothing) from an AOL ad supposedly from QVC that was re-routed to a clothing store and then re-routed again to ACQRA *tubuclub in Hong Kong for $50.36 USD. Completely fraudulent. Ended up having to cancel the card and get another reissued.NEVER trust an ad that you see on AOL.

I ordered a Pegasus worktable from what I thought was QVC only to find out it was a scam from China , called my credit card company and now I have to wait until the next bill comes before I can dispute it, and maybe change to a new card, I don’t think I will ever order on line again and it was the RTWApparel scammers, did not see this until After I ordered .

How long did you wait for the product to arrive?
one month, and i could not get in contact with the company, i called QVC and they told me it was a scam, so i canceled my card, just waiting for a new one
did not wait, i could not get in contact with the company so i called QVC and they told me it was a scam, canceled my card got a refund from my credit card company.
I had the exact thing happen. I filed a dispute with my card company. I even googled RTW Apparel and the reports said it was a legit company. Obviously ACQRA planted false legit claims. It sounded too good to be true and guess what . . . it was.
I tried to order the work table from this site tonight. Some red flags triggered me to cancel my card afterwards since they now had my information.
Same hear. But stopped when asking for credit card when i saw the website name. They almost got me when i thought it was from QVC
Same issue - QVC advertisement, RTW apparel, ACQRA *tubuclub fraud warning from credit card company
Same issue - QVC advertisement, RTW apparel, ACQRA *tubuclub fraud warning from credit card company. Thankfully Chase warned me
I had the issue! Thought that it was a QVC ad, but it turned out to be RTWapparels. Didn't catch it in time! :-(
Had the same thing happen. They even sent an order confirmation and later a shipment tracking number. The site was later disabled and the tracking number is bogus.
Same happened to us. Purchase thru qvc. Put on Acqra which is fraudulent. Had to cancel card.
The same thing with me. I ordered 2 camping chairs in the middle of December and after 2 weeks of waiting I started to write emails. They would answer them quick but just kept saying in transit. They sent me a made up tracking web site supposedly hooked up to the USPS but that would never change. Finally it updated and said my order had been delivered to or in my mailbox. The only thing that was delivered in my mailbox was a small package about the size of a playing card with a strip of ribbon in it and the package had the same tracking number on it as my chairs were supposed to have. I notified my credit card company and now I have to get a new card and wait to see if I will get a credit back for the chairs.....And these were QVC item's as well.
I ordered 2 camping chairs around the same time. Never received email confirmation or shipping details. Recently checked my credit card, and of course there was the charge. Contacted the credit card company and was immediately credited for the purchase. They must be aware of this scam to reply almost immediately.
