Within a few hours of eating a dream bone treat my dachshund mix started to have soft stool, the next morning it was projectile water poop, Within another 24 hours there was blood- her poop looked like motor oil. She was lethargic with no appetite. She then stared to vomit blood. We took her to the vet where she came back without a blockage, her stool sample showed no parasites or other issues.
After 5-6 days of pooping water every hour, on the hour, we got her on prebiotics, bland diet, lots of water, etc she started to feel better.
The only thing that was different from her usual feeding, or other, routine was trying the dream bone.
