I lost my passport last May, and I was scammed on a website Quickpassports.org that will cancel your lost pass-port, which is unnecessary as going to .gov will be all you need. Their charge was $89.00 and my credit card company will not reimburse me because of the website's verbiage. Because my identity was involved, I wanted to ensure that my identity didn't fall into the wrong hands. Again, the erroneous website is quickpassports.org.
