Power outage at the Valley Academy of Arts and Sciences (public high school in LAUSD) since this morning (08-18-2021). The ventilation system is down, yet teachers and students are required to continue classes. This is in violation of the UTLA agreement to maintain ventilation 24 hours a day for the safety of its staff and students. This is not safe even with masks on.
