I received the Moderna vaccine on 12/30/2020 (healthcare worker)Day 1 - Soreness in arm, slight flu like symptoms and slight headache
Day 2 - Continuation of very slight flu like symptoms and slight headache, soreness in arm down
Day 3 - Soreness gone almost completely, symptoms gone and feel normal
Day 4 - Soreness gone
Day 5 - No symptoms, but at night (last night) I woke up to chills/flu like symptoms worse than the initial symptoms on days 1 and 2. No fever (temp taken) although I felt like I had a mild one, also had slight muscle aches and a headache.
Day 6 (Today) - Took work off. I feel better than last night but still have a slight headache and feeling a little bit off.
I'm a bit confused because my symptoms resolved on days 3 and 4 but then last night I had symptoms again. Is it possible for a vaccine's side effects to wax and wane like that? Is it just my body's immune response? I considered that I possibly got sick but I have absolutely no fever, no sore throat, no shortness of breath, etc and my partner I live with (who has not been vaccinated yet) feels fine.
