I took my wife today to get her a 1 year pass. I told the soldier that I was a recently retired guard from the gate. I explained to the soldier that my wife needed a 1 year pass because her retired father is 88 years old and she has a disabled brother that is a dependent. The soldier nodded and began the processing the pass She gave my wife a 90 day paper pass and said they no longer issue passes longer than 90 days. This information is totally incorrect as if I delt with a civilian Guard, my wife should have been able to obtain a 1 year ID
