Water customers in Glidden are being advised not to drink from the tap.According to Carroll County city officials, the manganese levels may be above the recommended amount.
City leaders recommend using bottled water for drinking, food preparation, and brushing teeth. They also ask residents not to give water to infants younger than 6 months.
The city says not to boil the water because boiling does not reduce manganese levels.
