Regulatory Report

Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, York County Board of Disabilities, 7900 Park Pl, YORK, SC, 29745, USA

4 years ago business

7900 Park Place Road, York, 29745 South Carolina, United States

(1)The agency not following proper CDC protocol and trying to cover up cases and exposures of Covid-19. Management is not reporting Covid-19 cases to their employees. There's several houses within the agency that oversee resident's well-being. They are not letting employees know of cases/residents who have potentially been exposed to the virus. If employees have been exposed, they are letting them get tested but continue working until they get their results back, which furthermore puts residents and other employees at risk if their test results come back positive. (2) They've only recently decided to do a mandatory agency testing of all residents/staff after nearly 1 year of the pandemic after a staff and resident died due to Covid that was contracted from this agency. (3) Employees are not provided adequate personal protective equipment needed at each facility, only at the administration building which is useless to the staff that need it immediately. Many staff feel their safety is not taking into consideration as they're walking blindly into work without being notified of existing or potential cases.
