No requirement for masking of employees in village hall. On August 30, 2021, Executive Order 2021-20 was issued by the governor´s office which states all individuals in Illinois who are age two or over and able to medically tolerate a face covering (a mask or cloth face covering) shall be required to cover their nose and mouth with a face covering when in an indoor public place. Illinoisans should also consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities that involve close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated. While IL OSHA cannot directly enforce this executive order, the Illinois Occupational Safety and Health Act requires employers to protect employees from recognized hazards that cause or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to its employees (820 ILCS 219/20(a)). Employers that violate this section of the Act may be cited and/or referred to another regulatory authority.Alleged Hazards: 1, Employees Exposed: 10
