Employees have tested positive and are not being properly quarantined for 10 days and are not being provided proper PPE and running out of the basic PPE to deal with COVID-19 patients. Caregivers are giving care to COVID-19 patients without proper procedures for rooming positive patients for infection control. The employer did not implement and maintain an effective COVID-19 Prevention Program in the following instances: 1. The employer failed to respond effectively and immediately to employees that test positive for COVID-19, ensuring proper quarantine to prevent or reduce the risk of transmission in the workplace. T8 CCR 3205(c)(2)(C). 2. The employer did not evaluate the need for PPE to prevent exposure to COVID-19 and ensure that the proper PPE was being used as needed. T8 CCR 3205(c)(8)(E).
