There is an employee in the building who believes they have coronavirus. They called in to work last week and was going to self-quarantine, but management told them to come to work because the doctors would not test them due to him not showing "all" the symptoms. On top of this, no one in management has given anyone a protection plan. The facility has been out of sanitizer near the main break room for almost a week. Employees are working long 10-12 hour shifts with no clear for those who have children in healthcare. Employees are told to figure things out starting next week once all daycares are closed down and expected to carry on business as usual. The building operates with roughly 200 employees. There are truck drivers who enter the building to use the restrooms. There are no protections from any driver coming into the warehouse who may be infected. Today, a driver came into the warehouse coughing and sneezing. He looked very sick but was still allowed to enter the facility. UPS is NOT taking any additional actions or precautions to protect their employees. On the UPSers website, the CEO has published an article today on what UPS is doing in response to the virus. Under the article, 130 plus employees are expressing concerns and complaining about the unsafe working environment they are being forced to work in. Complainant has saved a PDF of the article to provide if needed.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-03-20
