1. Employees are exposed to heavy load, strains, and sprains while are working with blood collection equipment, thus exposing employees to musculoskeletal disorders. 2. The employer does not provide adequate training for lifting activities, thus exposing employees to musculoskeletal disorders. 3. The employer does not provide adequate Hazard Communication training while employees are working with chemicals such as bleach, alcohol, and ammonia, thus exposing employees to chemicals hazards. 4. The employer does not implement an adequate exposure control plan for employees working with contaminated sharps as needles, thus exposing employees to infectious diseases and bloodborne pathogens. 5. The employer does not implement a procedure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace, including, but not limited to provide adequate personal protective equipment, training, social distancing, ventilation, and following CDC guidelines. 6. The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). 7. The employer does not ensure that the work-related injuries and illnesses are documented in the OSHA logs such as OSHA 300 and 301 logs.
