This company discriminated against ee by firing them for lowering their facial mask for seconds (approximately 10 seconds). They claim that they have a zero tolerance policy with PPE related to COVID-19 however, ee was the only employee terminated and ee was told to remind other employees to keep their mask up over their mouth and nose daily. ee is 62 years old and they did not talk to ee, counsel ee, reprimand ee they just fired ee. I believe they wrongfully terminated ee violating their rights and did not follow the CDC guidelines which state close contact is more than 15 minutes in a distance less than 6 feet. EE was not within 6 feet of anyone and EE'S mask was lowered for a minute amount of time.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2021-03-16
