A resident was recently released from the hospital, due to COVID-19, and entered the retirement community. However, the resident was still experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (e.g., coughing, fever) and was readmitted to the hospital after a few days. The employer is not following the policy for quarantining COVID-19 positive residents for 2 weeks. Employees were not informed that this resident was COVID-19 positive, and were not provided with the appropriate PPE, such as N-95 mask, when providing care.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2021-08-09
