1. Employee returned to work on August 24th and went to their new workspace (room 201A). At the top of the stairs where the room was located there were noxious smells and intense heat (no doors/windows open for ventilation); no air conditioning. There were signs that the floors were recently waxed. 2. Employee was feeling short of breath and nauseated after five minutes of being in the workspace. 3. No incident report was written and employee was not asked if they needed medical attention or assistance. 4. The safety data sheet was not provided to the employee until their doctor requested it and it took four days to get the information. 5. Employee is concerned for their health and for others in the building since staff has to report to the building despite working with students remotely. 6. Employees don't know the toxicity of what they are using and not allowing ventilation. 7. Employee has requested information such as the use of each product, the frequency of use and the chemicals that were used just prior to their reaction but the district has not provided that information.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-09-14
